RIP BRITTANY

Summary

Brittany Murphy is an actress who died at the age of 32; no one really knows the main reason behind her sudden cardiac arrest. Sources claimed it was the use of drugs, some claimed it was her anorexia, some claimed it was suicide, and some said it was from diabetes. Just weeks before her death, she expressed her strong desire to have a child and how much she cherished her family. Brittany was an only child who had on and off relationships and engagements with multiple actors, which showed her uncertainty about life. Such deaths can never be clear even after autopsies, but her disappearance on TV will surely be clear and painful.

The Great man-made river project

Summary

The Great man-made river project has the potential to develop Libyan life.
The article was written by John Watkins in 2006. The article talks about the Great man-made river project and the purposes of the project such as developing the country was because Libya is a desert country and finding fresh water for personal use was always a problem. The project had started following the revolution of the Great Al-Fatah in 1969.
The project consisted of three phases; the first phase began in 1993; water from eastern well-fields reached Benghazi; in 1996 the second phase finished and water has been brought to Tripoli from western well-fields and the third phase was still under construction in 2006 when the article was written. The project improved the Libyan life in all sorts of ways.
Finally water was found for any personal use for the first time in Libyan history. Libya is now a leader in hydrological engineering and it's in a good position to play an effective role in the global economy.
Libya wants to rely on Libyans for manufacturing and they are hoping that they can decrease the foreign workers percentage by 20%.

Main Idea

Libya was always struggling from the poor water quantity, till the year of 1984 when they started the biggest development project which is the great man-made river project. The project improved the Libyan life in all sorts of ways and the poor water quantity is no more a problem.

Comment

Finally, from my point of view, the article was clear and it talked about a great accomplishment for one of the biggest development projects world-wide; The Great Man-Made River Project in Libya. It is nice to know that such projects have the potential to transform life in all sorts of ways and I'd be interested in knowing what are humanity's new projects, especially projects like the article talked about, because it's always a pleasure for humanity to succeed in such projects.

Introduction

Dear Hedley Butterfield

Welcome to my blog.

My name is Mohamed Humaid Al Suwaidi. I was born on the 19th of January 1991. I'm 19 years old now and graduated from high school in June 2008. I chose the University of Birmingham as an education community to complete my studies in, but unfortunately I faced some difficulties over there that made me decide eventually to go back home and complete my studies in the Higher Colleges of Technology. I'm still insisting to complete my studies in the same major that I have chosen when I first went to the United Kingdom which is Chemical Engineering, because I believe that I will benefit my country and myself in the industrial field.
Football, horse riding and photography are the three things I'm most interested in. I don't play football that much but I'm a fan of many sports teams such as Manchester City "The Citizens", the team that is owned by His Highness Sheikh Mansoor bin Zayed Al Nahyan in the United Kingdom. And about horse riding, I do that often, whenever I'm here in the country, and about the photography I own many DSLR cameras (Digital Single Lens Reflex) because I lived in a photographers society and I was interested in that hobby since I was in secondary level in school.

Kind Regards
Mohamed AlSuwaidi
